Gillian Griffin is the co-founder of Expatax and Magic Towns, drawing on years of experience setting up and running businesses in Malta and across Europe. With a Master’s in Property Finance and Law from Cass Business School, she has worked in real estate, venture capital and international relocation. Having lived in the UK, US, Scandinavia and beyond, she understands the practical and legal hurdles expats face. Having navigated the same path herself, she works to make international moves simpler, faster and more successful — for both individuals and businesses.

Jelena Jovulov is a Finance Manager in Malta, dedicated to helping expats and international professionals manage their finances with confidence. She specialises in financial forecasting, cross-border compliance, investment tracking, and management reporting, offering clear and practical solutions to support relocation and business growth. With her strategic approach and hands-on experience, Jelena makes complex financial matters simple and actionable.

Sara Alimehmeti specialises in supporting the expatriate and retiree communities through informative and engaging articles, Since joining Expatax in November 2023, she has been pivotal in developing compelling narratives to aid those relocating or retiring in new locales. Sara's academic achievements in Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Tirana provide her with a unique analytical perspective, enriching her content with depth and reliability.
